W'd like to introduce you to our team...
David Waugh
David qualified as a Scottish Chartered Accountant in 1982 and has had wide experience in both practice and industry. This practical experience enables him to understand the problems faced by SME owners.
David specialises in taxation matters, personal, corporate and capital. Our role is not to act as tax collectors’ , but to ensure that our clients’ are structured in the most tax efficient manner.
Property taxation both UK and Overseas is of special interest to David and if you have concerns over these issues you should contact him.
Jenny Waugh
Jenny brings a dimension to her role that few others in her field can claim she has worked for several years with the Arnotts and Menzies Groups, she then set up and ran her own highly successful training company before completing her chartered accountancy examinations.
As a result of this hands-on business experience, Jenny has an intimate understanding of the needs of SME owners and she appreciates the difficulties and challenges they face in today’s competitive economic environment.
Jenny’s hallmark is a friendly, conscientious and hard working style. And if you’re looking for an accountant who will go the distance for you, consider this - Jenny recently completed her first ever Rome Marathon in just over 4 hours.
Richard Hamilton
Richard qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1985. He worked both for Muir and Addy & Jackson Andrews before leaving practice in 1988 to join industry at Cawoods. In 1992 he became financial accountant at the Dale Farm Group.
During these years Richard has gained a wide range of practical accounting experience which could help solve some of your business issues.
In 2005 Richard returned to practice at Hamilton Morris Waugh when he was appointed partner. In 2006 the practice acquired the Hugh Burgess business in Belfast and since then Richard has been based in Belfast helping to develop operations there.
