Are you a meticulous numbers professional seeking a fresh opportunity in a supportive and growing local practice? We’re a small, friendly accountancy firm committed to excellence and personal service—and we’re looking for an experienced Bookkeeper or Accounts Technician to join our team.
What You’ll Do:
* Manage day-to-day bookkeeping duties for a portfolio of clients
* Prepare VAT returns and perform bank reconciliations
* Liaise directly with clients to ensure accurate records and reporting
* Train and support junior staff
* Use cloud-based accounting software, including Xero and Dext
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven experience in a bookkeeping or accounts technician role
* Strong working knowledge of accounting software, especially Dext and Xero
* Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
* Excellent communication and a client-focused approach
* ATI qualification preferred—or working towards it
